Describe your style:
My style seems to be eclectic. I tend to make things that I enjoy making and think look good. I don't often start out with a plan that something is going to look just so; except for the few pieces of chain maille that I've done. I let things evolve as I am working on them and sometimes they turn out to be a surprise even to me. I like to make things with a subtle dark flare to them. I, also, like to have fun and use things like novelty print fabric to make purses out of. In the end I make what I like and I hope that others like it as well.

What was the first piece of art that you felt ecstatic about?
I remember make a bright colorful quilt when I was 7 or so. My mom is a quilter and I wanted to make a quilt like she was working on at the time. I made a doll sized one.
Most recently was last year when i finished a two point perspective of the exterior of a house for my interior design class. I have never been much of an artist when it comes to drawing and painting. For me to actually do this drawing was such a huge thing.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?
My inspiration caomes from all over. I make alot of my own molds for jewelry from such odd things like the bark on a tree or a piece of broccoli. I watch alot of movies and TV. I often get ideas from there. Sci-fi and Historical movies are the best to get inspiration from. I designed a pair of earrings after watching Pirates of the Caribbean.

How long have you been creating art?
There is a 10-11 year age gap between my siblings and myself. Me being the bratty little sister. I grew up in a rural area with few neighbors that were my own age. Plus I was a very shy child. With all that I spent alot of time on my own making things useful and not so useful. My parents sent me to camp for a week each summer. I always signed up for the crafts classes. Short answer I have been creating art for as long as I can remember.

What is your favorite piece and why?
I truly like all the pieces I create. My favorite has got to be the Day of the Dead necklace I made for myself. My mom bought me the bead while on a trip to Reno. It is just a simple chain with various skull beads dangling from it. I have never seen any beads like these before or since. I get excited when I see someone with one of my items that they have bought. That always makes me happy.
